Ghost finally had his mixer and new mic working this episode, and also claimed he was broadcasting from a bar, with appropriate noises in the background. However, fans quickly deduced that the "bar ambiance" in the background was, in fact, fake, based on the fact that it looped every few seconds and that no one in the "bar" seemed to be talking to or acknowledging Ghost. It's likely that Ghost did this as a cheeky way of showing off his new mixer (probably a MorphVOX Pro, which has background noise, pitch shifting and voice modulation features). Later on in the episode, Ghost talks to "a black guy" and RaidenSnake, both of whose voices are quite obviously Ghost's pitch shifted using the mixer, resulting in them sounding rather demonic.

Due to an internet outage that caused problems during and just after Shoutouts, Ghost was unable to take calls from the TCR Chatroom or continue the show. He initially promised to do a make-up show on Saturday, however this quickly fell through. This show would not be archived due to its poor quality, and Ghost would host a re-do show on Monday.
