Description
English: Official version of the flag of the United Mexican States or Mexican Republic, adopted September 16, 1968 by decree (published August 17, 1968), Ratio 4:7. The previous version of the flag displayed a little different coat of arms. It was redesigned to be even more resplendent due to the upcoming Mexico City 1968 Olympic Games.
Español: Versión oficial de la bandera de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos o República Mexicana, adoptado 16 de septiembre 1968 por decreto (publicado 17 de agosto 1968). Proporción 4:7. La versión previa de la bandera tenía un escudo de armas poco diferente. Fue rediseñado para ser aún más resplandeciente debido a los próximos Juegos Olímpicos de Ciudad de México 1968.
