Ghost's Winter Hiatus
Ghost's Winter Hiatus was a hiatus that started on January 18, 2022 and ended on February 22, 2022. After Ghost stopped doing any episodes of The Ghost Show. With Ghost making more excuses. With his excuses straining the relations of his own audience.
Respect, Football, and Another Winter Storm
After the 274th episode of The Ghost Show aired. Ghost started posting more on Twitter while ignoring many of his audience's pleas for another show. Or giving multiple excuses that ranged from him watching football, going to the Thunderdome chatroom, and even outright demanding respect. Which Ghost posted on Twitter on January 27, 2022. Stating that he refused to do another episode until he was given respect. This resulted with many of Ghost's audience lashing back at Ghost that respect has to be earned. With someone later posting a picture of three voodoo dolls that had: a picture of a meat smoker, the logo of the Dallas Cowboys, and Ghost's avatar on the heads of the dolls. On February 1, 2022, Ghost posted another tweet of refusing to do another show due to preparing for another winter storm that Ghost feared would be as bad as the storm from last year. Ghost then posts on February 6 of not doing another show to extend the break. While making a promise to do another episode of True Capitalist Radio. With many of his audience being skeptical of Ghost making another episode of TCR (since the last TCR episode aired in November 2021). Ghost tweeted on Tuesday February 8th "I'm taking a break from the live show until after Valentine's Day. Been enjoying spending time with Mrs. Ghost and rehabilitating my vocal chords. Next LIVE show will be next Tuesday February 15, 2022. Thank you all for your patience.". Despite this, many believe that Ghost is buying time as retaliation for all the trolling he endured during his last show as a result of the Cowboys losing in the playoffs. Ghost wouldn't show up on February 15, 2022.
The TF2 Bots Return
A group of bot hosters known as Boat Rolling Inc. took advantage of this hiatus to relaunch TF2 bots with links to Ghost's VaughnLIVE, Chatango chatroom, Twitter page and his Spotify podcast. These bots have been micspamming replays of The Ghost Show and are engineer bots.
Ghost's Possible Return
After many broken promises of returning to airing The Ghost Show, Ghost announced the return of The Ghost Show again on Twitter with a post linking to an article on Ghost.report. With Ghost stating that the show will return on February 22, 2022. Ghost would fulfill that promise and return for the 275th episode of The Ghost Show on February 22. 2022, ending the hiatus.
