During the broadcast, Ghost was shocked by a video from Ardhamon which during the end showed Ardhamon's buttocks. Which resulted in Ghost refusing to do a show on New Year's Eve. Ghost followed up on his promise, with no episode airing on New Year's Eve. Marking the third time that The Ghosties did not air on New Year's Eve. After this episode, there has been no new episodes of The Ghost Show or Saturday Night Troll Show. Many viewers have wondered if Ghost is taking another month long hiatus with many thinking that Pinochet died, or that Ghost has died or that Ghost may have participated in the January 6, 2021 D.C. Capitol Hill protest/riot, and he may have gotten arrested during the rioting (he did not do a show on Tuesday or Thursday on the week of the Capitol Hill protests/riots, hinting towards this possibility, as he was also heavily promoting this event on previous shows).

It is unknown when Ghost will do another show. However, many listeners noticed in January 2021 that Ghost added a green shirt to his merchandise.

As of February 2021, Ghost's dlive chat has been banned due to terms of service violations.
